FREE BOOKS FOR OUR UNITS AND COUNCILS!
Hyperion Books recently contacted the Connecticut PTA office to offer free books to our organization. It is our pleasure to announce that all units and councils will receive two free books.
Pepper Schwartz and Dominic Cappello's Ten Talks Parents Must Have With Their Children About Sex and Character is written to help children, educators, and parents talk about safety, character, peer pressure, meeting people on the internet, and mixed messages from TV.
Richard Carlson's Don't Sweat the Small Stuff for Teens offers simple ways for teens to keep their cool in stressful times.
These books will be sent to every PTA Unit and PTA Council for use by all members. Connecticut PTA hopes that the books will be shared with parents, educators and students.
