Community Conversations About Education is pleased to announce that applications for 2011-2012 conversations are posted on the Web site: www.ctconversations.org <http://www.ctconversations.org/>.

Please consider making a Community Conversation a part of your community planning effort.

Individuals and organizations receive up to $2500 to organize local community conversations. Recent topics have included: School Readiness, Bullying, Skills for the 21st Century, Parental involvement and Purposes of Education. For sixteen years the grants have been supported by the William Caspar Graustein Memorial Fund in 103 Connecticut communities. The conversations bring together diverse groups of local citizens to discuss issues of importance to them. The conversations will be held in 2011 through spring 2012.

Applications and guidelines are available on the Community Conversations web site: www.ctconversations.org <http://www.ctconversations.org/>. The deadline is August 15, 2011.
