School Grant   Deadline Extended to May 3, 2013                                                                         

To   the busy schools wrapping up testing and spring break that have great   interest in our open grant opportunities, but need just a little more time:   We heard you! Action for Healthy Kids is extending the deadline for our School   Grants for Healthy Kids application.  Schools now have until May 3, 2013 to submit a proposal to enhance   their school breakfast or physical activity initiatives. 

 Action   for Healthy Kids is pleased to partner with CSX Transportation, Kellogg Company,   and the Walmart Foundation to offer grants for the 2013-2014 school year to   support such initiatives. Awards will be given to over 400 schools   ranging from $1,000 to $5,000. 

Applications are now due May 3, 2013! Take advantage of   the extended deadline!

• Determine if your school is a good fit for the Universal        Alternative Breakfast Grant. 
•   
• Download the paper application to begin the process.
•   
• Once the paper application is complete, proceed to our        online portal to submit your proposal.
