Gifts to Nutmeg Statewide PTA

NUTMEG STATEWIDE PTA (NSPTA), the statewide unit of CTPTA, was chartered by Connecticut PTA (CTPTA) on February 9, 1989 with a grant from National PTA (NPTA) and fifteen founding members.

This statewide unit was established to provide a PTA vehicle for those who are interested in statewide issues affecting the health, education and welfare of Connecticut’s children and youth. One of the primary goals of NSPTA is to raise funds for an endowment that awards scholarships to graduating seniors from PTA/PTSA high schools who are planning to enter careers in service to children. Since 2000 when the first scholarship was awarded, NSPTA has given over $13,500 in scholarships.

All contributions are acknowledged by NSPTA to the donor and recipient and in the CT PTA Bulletin, NSPTA News and on the CT PTA website. All donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
