Outstanding Leadership Certification Program

Thirty years of research clearly shows that parent involvement at all levels of decision making in schools improves student achievement. To reach their full potential, students need parents to take an active role in their education. Schools are working hard to provide a high-quality education for every child, but they cannot do it alone. Parent involvement is critical to creating great schools.

Connecticut PTSA feels that for this to be accomplished there must be some training. You expect district staff to engage in professional development; you should have the same expectation for yourself!

Good governance doesn’t just happen – it’s learned! Your membership relies on prepared, knowledgeable leadership.

Money is only one of the many positive contributions PTAs can make to a school. Providing effective management of all the resources of your PTA is prudent financial management.

Connecticut PTSA is offering a unique accreditation program designed to deliver high quality training. This in-service program focuses workshops, conferences and other training opportunities on leadership skills of PTA leaders. Through the training offered by the CT PTSA, board members gain the most valuable skills and tools available to provide visionary leadership for their local PTAs.    Click Here for More Information.
